About Simon Mak
Simon started photography at school time with a Minolta XE-1 which his father gave him and then got into Street Photography after joining a photography workshop held by Magnum Photographer Alex Webb who has opened up his eyes and mind to the art.
Since then Simon has predominately focus on Street Photography which he found fascinating and gave me the opportunity to review a city, people and life in a way that he saw them through the lens of a camera. As much as in his pursuit for the magic of "The Decisive Moment" as the father of street photography Henri Cartier-Bresson named one of his legendary book.
Simon is located in Hong Kong and is self-represented and takes clients on a limited basis.
